Project 2 (moore than just an amazing house..)
The second of the large scale installations was a hard-landscaping project at a beautiful site over looking gorgeous Silver Creek in Guilderton (at the mouth of the Moore River). However, not only is the site itself amazing but the house, around which the landscaping was installed, is a brilliant piece of contemporary modernism with an aesthetic that is only surpassed by it's functionality as the best beach house ever. It was an awesome job to work on and the owners, Jane Turner and Paul Gray + Robbie, were just tops. The landscape involved minor retaining and raised planter-box built from Besserblocks, Karratha stone "crazy paving", compacted gravel driveway and native coral stone stack borders.
Project 1
The first major works as TGL were, thankfully, undertaken on my wonderful parents property. A couple of "ums and ahhs" here and there but the final result was really rewarding... That retaining ain't goin nowhere... Installed!
